Easter attire, 6 months, crazy kiddo

Sunday the kids got to wear their new Easter attire to church. They looked darling!Love that smile!
Handsome little man-growing up WAY too fast!
Kallie is already 6 months! This age is so much fun ( i think I say that every time but I am seriously loving it!) Some things about Kallie
  • army crawls everywhere! She doesn't stay in one place for very long
  • LOVES Bath time. When I put her in she kicks her arms and legs like crazy and smiles and laughs the whole time
  • such a sweet, happy little baby
  • DROOLS A TON
  • loves pretty much all baby food except peas
  • plays with my hair when she drinks her bottle
  • loves to drink out of her sippy cup
  • loves being outside
I LOVE how they are looking at each other in this picture. (Her hand looks kind of crazy) She thinks that Cooper is the funniest person ever!
Kallie had her 6 month appointment on April 5th and lucked out because they ran out of two of the immunizations that she needed so she only got one. Shots are so sad to watch as a parent! She is growing very good. He was a little concerned with this growth that all the sudden appeared over the last month and a half and said he honestly didn't know what it was so he is sending us to a dermatologist Tuesday to get it checked out!
Here are her 6 month stats:

Weight: 15 lbs 28%

Height: 25.98 in 56%

Head: 16.9 in 64 %

Cooper is such a crazy kid and comes up with some interesting outfits. Here is the latest....
Let me remind you....it is NOT cold outside! Apparently, he was cold! He loves his "mud boots" from Grandma Aunt Toni (that is what Coop calls her) and wears them ALL the TIME!
He loves exploring in the back yard and is always looking for a new adventure! :)

Geez...time flies!

Wow, I have a lot of updating to do! I guess we will start back in March. Nick took his final for the SFO (Special Function Officer) Block and PASSED!! Wahoo!! He has been able to enjoy two weeks off before he heads back to school this Monday for his last Block (LEO). He is really enjoying school and is excited for what is to come!

The last week in March I had the chance to go to a buying show in Richfield with the DSC Bookstore and help "buy" clothing for this next year. We had WAY too much fun and ate WAY too much!!
The Clothing team (Me, Bev, Tia)
Bev is our Supervisor. She is the sweetest person ever!!
Tia and I roomed together. She is hilarious!
Getting ready to head back home
Then came Easter/Conference weekend. What a fun way to spend Easter weekend listening to the words of the prophet. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the sessions of conference. One that I was so grateful to hear was Elder Andersen's talk on the role of mother's. I just made me realize how important and sacred our role is and rearing our children down a righteous path. Saturday in between sessions we met up at the Park with the Tobler Fam for a picnic. It was fun and such beautiful weather.
Before Nick headed off to Priesthood we dyed eggs and had a little Easter egg Hunt for Coop. I don't know what happened to the pics of the egg hunt.Coop preparing the counter
Dying EggsDad & Coop dying a blue eggAnd her is Kallie :)
While Nick was at the Priesthood Session. Joanna invited me to go with the girl's in her fam to eat Pizza and Ice cream sundaes. It was sure fun! Thanks! Before we went to bed Cooper put his Easter basket outside of his bedroom door so the Easter bunny would be able to find it. Well, morning came and Coop came running into my room all concerned. He said, "MOM..the Easter bunny stole-ded my basket. It's gone!"
Nick told him that the Easter bunny had probably hid the basket and we would have to find it. So we went for a search and sure enough that clever little bunny left it right on the kitchen table!Cooper's basket
Kallie discovering her basketSo excited!

It has been a fun and busy month and we man it sure goes by fast!
