The Tobler's Breakin'

Making bread round one!

Yesterday my sister and niece came over to make bread. Well, it has been a while since my sister had made bread and I have never made wheat bread. It started out pretty rough. We started grinding the wheat and the machine kept shutting off and you could smell it burning so, we went online to see how we could fix the clog. I guess they don't make this series anymore that my sister has so...we kept searching and found somewhere that said to vacuum out the grinder. We vacuumed it out and proceeded to grind the wheat. Everything was going smooth and we were so happy we were on our way to having yummy bread.

He was so proud of his bread!
He worked so hard at making his bread.

So, the bread was risen and we put it in the oven. It smelled so yummy! Yay, it was time for the bread to come out of the oven. We took it out, buttered the tops, and sliced a piece to eat. We took a bit and something was missing.... hmm... what did we forget? THE SALT!!! We were sad that we forgot the salt but thought hey..we have low sodium bread. That is a good thing right? Well, later that night I was getting some things out of the fridge for dinner and saw the carton of eggs. I called my sister, we forgot to put in the EGGS!!! Wow, what a day! We had so much fun we forgot a couple ingredients! Surprisingly for forgetting eggs and salt our bread turned out pretty good! We are going to try again next Thursday! :) Wish us luck!

Without Cooper I would have no blog!!

I was cleaning up the bedrooms today and I had that "mommy instinct" to go and see what Cooper was doing. Well, to my surprise I found him in the kitchen on top of the counter with a spatula in one hand and baking soda everywhere with things from the cupboard out on the counter. I looked at him and asked him, "What are you doing???" And with a big smile on his face in his cute little voice he said, "birthday cake!" Well, apparently he was going to make a birthday cake with all the things you see on the counter. He also found the candles at the top of the cupboard! The main ingredient, BAKING SODA!
The mound of baking soda and a few candles
after sweeping up the floor!

My life would be so boring without Cooper, but my house actually might stay clean! :) I love my little man. He is truly the reason my blog is still going!

Grandma & Grandpa Great

I make dinner for Nick's grandparents during the week and so we go over there quite a bit. Today while we were over there I was thinking of the last time we actually had a picture of Cooper with them. It has been a while so, I thought we would get one today....Well, we kinda got some. Cooper was too excited from the candy and cheeto's to sit in one place.

They are so sweet! We love you Grandma & Grandpa Great!!

Memorial Day!

When I was little we would go to the cemetery for Memorial Day and put roses from our yard on the graves of family members that had passed away. This year I had the opportunity to go with my dad. This is the first time I have been since I've been married. Nick had to get some things done for work (even though it was his day off.) We missed having him there. :(
So, me and my dad went and it was nice to get refreshed on some of my family history!
When I got home I made some cookies for our family get-together. We went over to my brother Warren's house for swimming and a BBQ. We had LOTS of delicious food and some chips that tasted like Froot Loops?? :)
The kids had a blast swimming and running around and the guys playing golf on the wii!
It is so fun to get together with everyone and catch up on what everyone is up too.

Candy, Baby!

Ok, so if you have not tried this lotion yet and you love sweet smelling stuff...you have to get this!! It is so yummy smelling! It is from Victoria's Secret and it is called Candy, Baby!
It is now my new favorite. It reminds me of a cotton candy/taffy smell.

My Birthday!

Cooper thought it was his birthday too!
Today is my 24th birthday! It has been such a nice relaxing day. We went to church, came home took a nap, then Nick made some yummy chicken, potatoes, and salad. After dinner we went for a little ride and came home to eat some yummy birthday cake. I LOVE "naughty cake"!!!!! (that's what we call better than.....anything cake!) It has been such a nice day!
Nick gave me the best present by getting my shutters painted and on the house. (I will post a picture later) You are the best husband ever!!!
Thanks Nick and Cooper, I love you!

Pink Bohemia Crystal!!

On Sunday we went to my oldest sister Toni's house for dinner. She just got back from Germany last week and made us this delicious German meal for us so we could see what it was like. She brought home lots of fun treats. They don't have gummy bears there but they have gummy rats, pigs, ABC's, turtles, and marshmallow alligators! They are way fun and yummy. Well, She brought me home this pink Bohemia crystal for Mother's Day! She knows I LOVE pink! She is the sweetest and most thoughtful person you will ever meet. She has really truly been like a mom to me since my mom passed away. I love her so much and am so grateful to have her in my life! Thanks Toni, I love ya!

Our House!!

Here are pictures of our house from the beginning to now. It is so nice to no longer be in an apartment and hear other people. We love it out here in Washington Fields. The ward is so great too! It was funny because we went to church and our Bishop was Bishop Brooks. I came home and called my dad to see if we were related. Well, we are.. Man, it's a small world but, such a big family! Cooper especially loves it out here because we have horses right across the road from us. He likes to visit them everyday. I am excited because we will soon have neighbors. Yeah!!

Cooper's coloring adventure

Okay, so we thought Nick had disposed of all the markers but, I guess not because Cooper found one. He seems to find them ANYWHERE!!! We are still unsure of where he is hiding them. I put Cooper in the bath and scrubbed most of it off. Good thing they were washable. After scrubbing it off I looked at the water and it was completely pink! Oh, what a day!

I know that this is an old picture but, I had to post it because it helps me remember how he used to hardly ever make messes!

It has been one of those days were nothing can stay CLEAN!!!!! I was doing the dishes and Cooper came in and pulled his shirt up and said, "Mommy, see it?" He found a green marker and colored all over his tummy, legs, chin, cheeks, and feet. Oh, my little guy is not so little anymore!!!
