25 weeks

Here she is poking out at 25 weeks. I love feeling her move around. It feels like she is just rolling around in there. It is defiantly a lot different than with Cooper. He was a little kicker. Like I said in a couple posts back...My appetite has pretty much doubled. I am hungry and thirsty ALL the TIME!!! Things to remember at 25 weeks:
  • I LOVE most all food except seafood and hamburger
  • I get nauseous after 9 p.m.
  • Cooper loves to feel her move
  • Swimming is one of my favorite things to do because it is the only way I can cool down
  • I am surrounded by blankets and pillows at night for comfort
  • I wake up at the same time every night to go to the bathroom
  • I wake up hungry at 5 a.m. every morning
  • We put up her crib
  • My left leg goes numb when I lay flat
  • She goes crazy when I eat crepes...I don't know if she loves them or if she is telling me to stop cause I sure can eat a lot of them! :)

We are so excited for her to come and join our family. It will sure be different having a little girl in the house!!

Sunny Days

We have had some pretty HOT days lately so Grandma Jo has been kind enough to offer her pool for us to swim in. Raelie & Brady accompanied Cooper and I last Saturday. Cooper has been so terrified lately of water so it was great for him to see Rae and Brads swimming. He had to wear his floaties and have the ring around him but eventually got down to only the floaties and would play around on the step. He did love taking rides around in the floatie ring from Raelie and Brady and swimming with me on my back. I am sure by the end of the summer we will get him jumping off and having a blast....I think we will be swimming A LOT because I am already dying of heat!!

Cooper LOVES to go see baby Brooks. He asks all the time to go and see his friend Brooks at Brady's house. I just love this picture!

No more bleeds!

June 12th Cooper went in for his cauterization of his vessel in the right side of his nose. We got to Coral Desert around 8:15 a.m. and got him all checked in. They gave him this cute little bear, which he named Cooper Jon Rescue (don't ask me where he got that!?!). We were called back to the pre-op room and I think all the memories came back...he started to get really nervous and did not want to put on his gown. We eventually got it on him and turned on Clifford and he was as happy as could be until the nurse came to get him. She finally talked him into it by telling him he was going to go and "blow up a balloon." After she told him that the first words out of his mouth were, "What color is it?" :) Cooper went through the doors while we walked down to the waiting room and waited. Luckily, time went by really fast and I was able to go and hold him when he came out. He was pretty alert and told me, "Mom, I blew up a green balloon, my favorite." I was so happy to see him happy and not in pain. We went and picked up his ointment and got some lunch. He choose McDonald's and wanted to go eat it at the park. When we got home he was playing as if he had never even had anything done. Later that day, he fell asleep for about 3 hours and then was back to the same old Cooper again. He did great and we are so happy!

Splash Park with Barry & Brandon

While Kay was at Girl's camp (June 9-12th) I got to hang out with the Snow kids while Cort was at work. We had a lot of fun running here and there. The girls (Bekah, Raelie, & Mikelle) went to Steph's sewing camp on Thursday so the boys and I went to the Splash Park. Brandon and Coop had fun trying to get the bucket to fly up in the air when the water would shoot out. They got it to work a few times but, I never was able to get an action shot. :(
Barry and me hung out and ate chips while we watched the boys play.

Another surgery....

My poor Cooper man has been having bloody noses pretty badly for the last year and a half. It happens about every other day and mostly during the night. It is so sad to see him "freak out" whenever his little nose runs even a little. He is afraid it is bleeding. We have tried a lot of things over this duration of time. Humidifier, air(ointment), you name it! I took him to the pediatrician to see what else there was to do because he had gotten a bloody nose that lasted 45 mins until it finally developed a little clot and stopped. Poor guy! Dr. Marsden said he wanted to test to make sure he didn't have a blood clotting disorder just to be safe and thankfully he doesn't so we got referred to the ENT (ear, nose, and throat specialist). We saw Dr. Gardner who had taken out Cooper's tonsils. He was great and suggested that we have his vessel in his "bleeder" nostril cauterized. I am so sad to have my little guy be put out for another surgery, but if it will help I think we will all be very grateful!! So, this Friday Cooper is going in to have his procedure done. I tried to explain to him that we were going to the hospital like we did for his tonsil and he will go to sleep for a while and get his nose to feel better. (not as many bleeds) Instantly, he said, "Can I get new jammies?" Of course.....so we went out looking for those perfect PJ's. He picked out some cute dinosaur pajama's and is all excited to wear them on Friday!

Fishing in Montana

Nick left on Wed. (May 27th) to Montana with his brothers (except Kyle- he had guard) and dad for their annual brother's trip. They drove up to Logan on Wednesday and stayed the night. Thursday morning they woke up and drove the rest of the way. They got to Montana and floated down the Beaverhead river on their pontoon boats. Here is Nick with his two fish he got to keep and bring home. We tried to keep busy while he was gone. We went to the splash park and swimming almost everyday. It was a lot of fun. The nights were defiantly the hardest. Cooper would cry that dad was not in his spot to go to bed. It was so sad. This is Cooper all ready for church (sorry about the fuzzy picture..my phone doesn't take very good ones). He was so excited because when we got home from church daddy would be home. YAY! More on Nick's fishing trip and pictures to come!
