I ate too much turkey...

I ate too much turkey,
I ate too much corn,
I ate too much pudding and pie,
I'm stuffed up with muffins and much too much stuffin',
I'm probably going to die.
I piled up my plate and I ate and I ate,
but I wish I had known when to stop,
for I'm so crammed with yams, sauces, gravies, and jams
that my buttons are starting to pop.
I'm full of tomatoes and french fried potatoes,
my stomach is swollen and sore,
but there's still some dessert,
so I guess it won't hurt if I eat just a little bit more.

"Yucky, green, gross thing"

This last weekend I had my brother-in-laws kids while they went on a trip for their anniversary. The kids were cleaning up the toys in the room and Kaylee came running into the kitchen asking where Nick was. I told her and she went and got Nick and said, "Nick come look.. there is a yucky, green, gross thing!" Nick went to investigate and found that it was a dead frog! A frog?? It was behind Cooper's bedroom door. How did a frog get into the house??? So, Nick discarded of the "yucky, green, gross thing." It still boggles my mind of how a frog got into Cooper's room! Hmm... I guess we will never know!

MuD!!!

While I was doing laundry yesterday Cooper decided to sneak out the back door and go over to the horses. This really scares me when he sneaks over there because there is this canal for water and sometimes it is pretty deep. Luckily, today it wasn't because he went over there and decided to play in the mud!
Notice he is wearing my shoes! The one on his foot totally sunk into the mud when he got up to come home when he discovered I had found him! He didn't even notice me until I was across the canal and said, "Coop!" Little stinker. He is always into mischief!

Diaper Cake fo Teria

I was hosting Teria's baby shower at my house and was trying to think of something for a centerpiece/cute decoration for the gift table. I have never made a diaper cake before, but I had heard a lot of people say how easy it was! So...I tried it! Here it is!

It's been one of those days!!

Today has definitely been one of "those" days!! Cooper go into my make-up and found my lipstick. Well, he decided to put it on his whole face. He came and showed me and I was like, "what is tha....oh...no." I put him up on the counter and got a warm wash rag to get it off his face....nope didn't work. Not one bit! Then I remembered that Baby Oil takes off Halloween make-up so we tried that and it worked great! It took it all off with no screaming or complaining from Coop. I didn't realize that my lipstick was that hard to get off. It's name really fits... Mega Last! Baby Oil is now an essential at our house!!! Well, that isn't all.... He went into my closet and took the hairspray with him and was spraying the carpet and my clothes that are on the lower rack! Little stinker! He has way too many sneaky and adventurous ideas for me to keep up with. I could go on and on about the rest of the day, but I will spare you the complaining!

Chris is a missionary!

Today Chris left for the MTC. We are so excited for his decision to serve a mission. He will be a great missionary. We went over to his house Monday and took over a card Cooper had made and some treats. Cooper loves playing with Chris. He grabbed Chris' hand and took him to the toys. They played cars for a while and Coop sure didn't want to leave.
When we left Cooper said, "Chris going on a mission to Montana?" I explained why he was going and Cooper said, "Ok"
He will miss Chris lots, but we are excited for him!
Here are some pictures of Coop and Chris when Coop slept over there
while we were out of town.
He sure didn't want to come home.
Playing in the laundry basket Playing around outside the church after visiting Santa at the ward Christmas party! We love you Chris!

Oh, Cooper!

Hmm.. Need I say more? Look at this face...... GUILTY! Nick and I were in the living room watching T.V. when I could smell Baby Powder. I thought I would go investigate. I followed the smell and it led me to THIS! He was a good boy and helped me clean up.
Oh, Cooper!

HaLlOwEeN TiMe!

Our Halloween started out to be quite different than I thought. Cooper woke up Halloween morning and said, "I don't wanna go trick or treat!" I was very surprised and told him we didn't have to go. (we were only planning on going to family). Later that day, my niece Kaylee came over in her Halloween costume and told Cooper how fun her Halloween party was at school! He went and got his costume and I guess decided that it would be a fun night after all.

We got him all ready in his dragon costume and headed over to Grandma Tobler's. She was a cat for Halloween. Emma was there in her Lion costume. We then headed over to Grandpa Tobler's, but he was out to eat so we text him a picture of Mr. Coop Dragon.
We went over to Great Grandma and Grandpa Stratton's with Emma so they could see the kiddos in their costumes. They were pretty excited to see them all dressed up.
My sister Kalynn does a "spook alley" at her house so we went and checked it out! Cooper had fun, but wasn't too sure about the "dead guy" holding the candy bowl. He wouldn't even get close to grab a piece of candy...too scary!
Every Halloween the Brooks Family tries to gather together at Walt & Jen's for donuts and Hot Chocolate. This year there wasn't very many people, but we did get to see:
Sleepy Vampire Brenden
Minnie Mouse Bekah
Merlin Brady & Witch Meili
Grandma & Grandpa Reindeer
AND
Spiderella Raelie!
Cooper was exhausted by the time we got home. We started out our venture at 5:30 and got home around 10:30. It was sure a fun to see everyone in their cute costumes! :)
